Neal Sarin is an Indian-American producer, composer, music executive and entrepreneur based in New York City.
At the age of 27, he served as Head of A&R at JioSaavn and co-founded Artist Originals - the world’s first record label started by a major music streaming company. While at JioSaavn, he led the strategy towards non-exclusive “artist-friendly” deals, while signing and developing the careers of Sid Sriram, Prateek Kuhad, Zack Knight, Divine and more independent South Asian talent. He executive produced ‘NY Se Mumbai’ by Nas for the film Gully Boy featuring Divine, Naezy and Ranveer Singh.
On May 22, 2019, he released his debut EP ‘Akasha’ under the alias Neal Anand. The project was released on Pineal Labs, a record label he founded dedicated to helping listeners relax, sleep and heal with music. The new label tests its releases using EEG technology to omit meditative brainwaves.
