Neal Sarin is an Indian-American producer, composer, music executive and entrepreneur based in New York City.
At the age of 27, he served as Head of A&R at JioSaavn and co-founded Artist Originals - the world’s first record label started by a major music streaming company. While at JioSaavn, he led the strategy towards non-exclusive “artist-friendly” deals, while signing and developing the careers of Sid Sriram, Prateek Kuhad, Zack Knight, Divine and more independent South Asian talent. He executive produced ‘NY Se Mumbai’ by Nas for the film Gully Boy.
In May 2019, he launched Pineal Labs, an independent record label dedicated to helping listeners relax, sleep and focus with music. The new label tests every song using EEG technology to omit meditative brainwaves, while optimizing future releases with data.
